Fashion show raises over £900
A fantastic fashion show has raised over £900 for Foundation Housing’s Safe project, which supports victims of domestic abuse.

The upmarket show in Leicester also included a clothes sale from top retailers like Next and Marks & Spencer. Organised with Emery Johnson solicitors, it will help Safe deliver training programs to empower women at risk of or experiencing domestic abuse.
A survivor of abuse gave an emotional speech to the audience of over 150 people, telling how she was helped by the project to live her life independently and free from domestic violence.
The fashion outfits were modelled by Emery Johnson and Safe project staff who strutted their stuff down the catwalk.
Meena Kumari, Safe team leader, said: “It really was an amazing night. We cannot thank Emery Johnson enough for their support and sponsorship of this fashion show. We will be able to help more women as a result.”
