About FHA
Foundation Housing Association (FHA) is a specialist black and minority ethnic (BME) housing provider, meeting the housing and housing related support needs of culturally diverse Leicester.
Part of the East Midlands Housing (EMH) Group, it evolved from the pioneering Youth Foundation set up by members of the community in the 1970s and is now one of the country’s leading specialist housing associations providing 760 homes at affordable rents across Leicester.
After the latest inspection by the Audit Commission, Foundation, which is based in Leicester, was rated as a “good” two star organisation with promising prospects of improvement. Our YourFoundation housing related support services include two hostels, mental health support services, tenancy support, elderly support and SAFE domestic violence support.
