Working in Communities

As part of our commitment to community regeneration, our investment in new homes is linked with initiatives to provide training and local employment opportunities. Other projects support neighbourhood revitalisation and many of our development activities have involved the use of land no longer suitable for its original purpose: new homes have been provided by the conversion of schools, museums, factories, a greyhound stadium and even an abattoir.

We are determined to provide residents with peaceful and pleasant places to live. We focus on supporting people to prevent the occurrence of anti-social behaviour by working closely with local authorities and the police.

We are committed to supporting and working with communities and welcomed the recent chance to team up with local schools. Eleven members of staff paid weekly visits to two Coalville primary schools to help children practice their reading.
